For your information, Air France does not charge Fuel surcharge on intra-European AF flights.

Skypesos are generally useless but you will find somewhere to use them, and they never expire, and occasionally may prove very handy. They also come with no redeposit fee for award flights for Platinums, which is epic...In other words, you can be booking and canceling award flights all the time, use them as back up flights, etc...Full benefits here...I am tempted myself as I am currently out of status with ST...
