I would also like to point out that this works in reverse SFO-BOM with fare basis PXTUS31.
This earns 110% on OZ which you can get star gold for as little as 40k miles.

checking google flights for random dates on OW flights finds a lot of availability in the US$850-950 range, and US$1550 return-- lots of dates available, at least showing on google flights-- haven't clicked thru.

Doesn't seem to work out well on SQ website as when you select "Premium Economy" they usually give a mix of Y/PY (DEL-SIN in Y even though SQ 403/406 have PY setting) and can't be booked with PY all the way.
Works out well if booked through GDS, or the link zoqfotpik has shared with us.
