Star Alliance First Class LAX - LON $4185

Looks like pretty open availability - Could be a response to the Air France Sale.
Possibly more cities available.

Its obviously not as good as the QR sale out of SGN for $700, probably not even MR worthy at this price.

That being said, its first class on LH or LX for the normal price of BA club world, and with no positioning costs. I'll bite at this price.

This is a great fare for LX or LH if you are going to London.
If not, just combine with a throwaway Y return and it's in the $2,400 one way range to ZRH.
Edvard likes this.

The QR fare has long gone. You can find all the excitements at that time here under the mileage run discussion forum

One day SFO I'd like to have a chat with you about buying points for premium SYD to JFK ot LHR as opposed to buying the regular airfare.

I think this fare may be gone. No longer seeing LAX-LHR for 4100-ish USD in First for the range of dates in 2018 I'd been following - it's up to around 5600+ USD instead.
Feels like a similar pattern to the recent AF sale to Spain.

Edit: United may still be offering this price on their metal for some dates. But the LX/LH flights seem to be pricing out now at 5600+ when I check more dates

Yeah, still seeing it ($4010-ish) on solely United metal on various dates from December 2017 through May 2018; disappears in summer of 2018. No LX or LH flights.

I have actually been eyeing this fare the past few days. Finally go the "go ahead" from my wife last night and I went back to look and the fare was gone.

LX/LH metal can still be had for ~$5K from the west coast (SFO-BCN) or about $4700 for JFK.

Lufthansa! ICN-PRG via FRA in C, BRU-ICN via FRA in F (booked into A fare) and I paid $3,000ish. Basically $1k/direction for biz, $2k/direction for F.
