I noticed there's another thread on the same route, but thought this could be a different deal. Please merge if necessary.

Actually, I think this fare has been available for a while in the $2100 range from NYC. That is not low enough for me to pull the trigger though, $1700 was though.

The fare remains from IAD at $2100+ (can go into JTR and out of ATH). And can get it down to $1900 with the AARP discount.

I found similar from JFK to ATH.

One interesting flight... on the return, if you're willing to overnight in London, you can take BA 001 LCY-JFK, for that same price. ^
I've been wanting to take that flight. It would require getting from LHR to LCY, but shouldn't be too tough 20:00, can stay near Tower Bridge to be well positioned for LCY.

It popped back up again. Anyone have recommendations for routings? Looks like you can grab the new BA 787 out of IAD, which I plan on doing. Not sure how bad the 762 is operated by BA from LHR-LCA

It looks like it's showing up for $2100 when before, it was $1700.

correct and with the AARP discount you can get it down to $1900. I'd also note you can get the D.C.-LHR segments on the 787. Unfortunately if you go to Lacarna, you have to overnight in london (which one might not mind) on the return since BA only has one flight a day and it leaves at night from cyprus.
