Has anyone called Amex to see how much cheaper these fares are using the Plat card booking service?

Very nice find. Just snagged on September dates for CDG-SFO on the United non-stop. Perfect.

Not much (at least in Canada) ITA quoted 2533 CAD for CDG-SFO//SFO-LYS and Amex booked it at 2507 CAD.

It's a very different deal when two people must travel together.

It's also a totally different airline/alliance too. Folks look at thread titles for the gist of things.

I looked at OneWorld flights and found nothing sub-$3500 on any dates.

What am I missing?

I agree on the thread title part, but there are various posts in that other thread that discuss other airlines, etc.

Anyway... point is this isn't a "new" deal, just one with a better title than the other ;-)

This is a different fare, as there is no requirement for two to travel.

I'm the same - where and how did you find this or has the fare gone?
