SV: First Class One-Way from Singapore to Cairo from £732
Great fare from Singapore to Cairo one-way flying Saudia flying their 777 and A330.
This is a great way to try a First class product, and can be great way also of finding a return flight for an European one-way air miles redemption to Asia.
A dummy booking with a flight for departure 11/11 here
Several dates available between October and June!!!
30 October
1,3,4,6,8,10,11,13,15,17,18,20,22,24,25,27,29 November
1,2,4,6,8,9,11,13,15,16,18,20,22,23,25,27,29,30 December
1,3,5,6,8,10,12,13,15,17,19,20,22,24,26,27,29,31 January
and similar dates up to June 2018!!!!

This is far from an error fare. The Saudia First Class product is hardly competitive in a 2-2-2 configuration. It's worse than what some airlines offer in J.
By the way, for those who might be interested, RT costs exactly twice as much.

Agree that 'error fare' is becoming used for any particularly good flight price whether factually correct or not.
Great price. Would be interested in trying Saudi First but would be concerned about ending up flayed or buried up to my neck with rocks* being hurled my way without any clue as to what I'd done wrong.
* They won't use rocks larger than their fist, they're not barbarians you know !

It doesn't look like they even have first class on this route based on the Saudia website.
On on the other hand is Saudia business even good? I've read very mixed reviews online and most says their service is just rubbish. Thoughts?

I recently flew SV (on a $1500 RTW ex-CAI), and was quite impressed with the Business product on their 77W and new A330. First on the 77W also looked nice, although there are some less desirable configurations out there.
These SIN-CAI fares have been around for a while (some 500 EUR in Business OW), so certainly no mistake.

Etihad 1700 first class RT vs. Saudi
Etihad First class 1700€ for First RT from Cairo to Singapour. Definitely this is beter option then Saudia.
But Saudia has a quite good bussiness class product. I had 4 sectors with Saudi bussiness and 3 of them where fenomenal.

I recently flew Milan -JED- Jakarta in Business Class and they were fine. Hard product on 777 was as good as SQ. Soft product was as good as Biman Bangladeath!. So if you do mind a comfortable seat and do not care about service, then Saudi is fine. I would fly them again but only at a discounted price.
