Too bad that this fare does not apply to flights originating from the US.

Makes two of us.

Unless you take a cab I think the Haneda advantage is overrated because the Limousine Bus caroussel is a disaster and the International Terminal is the last stop for the Buses from the city and the first stop going there. You lose 20-30 minutes on top every time.

I've seen similar decent fares LAX-NRT and SFO-ICN recently. Both RT and one way.

actually I have very good experiences for haneda.

usually it's about 10-15 minutes from gates to train.

i have never take more than a hour from haneda to hotel. So i think it's a huge benefit for me to fly into haneda.

Last week I was able to catch 2nd to last train arriving from Doha. Got to my hotel at 12:00am in park Hyatt. So I love haneda.

But SQ service blows AA out of water. Arrival time isn't too bad where the connection would be painful.

Only earns 100% UA MP PQM/RDM so it's only a deal for those who really want to try SQ J class and don't need the extra value for, and quantity of UA miles.

I don't get that logic!?

Why would UAMP matter in regards to this deal? There are plenty of *A programs to credit flights to.

The logic is to remind UA flyers who might be interested in this deal, their PQM bonus doesn't stack up value-wise vs the NH and AC deals out there that offer 200% credit vs 100% for discount J.

If you need so many miles, TAP is the best choice! No matter how discount is your paid business class, you will earn 200 percent of each miles flown

Discount tickets on SQ for NRT-LAX have been around for ages. This place almost always has them:
