For same price you can buy YYZ-KUL

Albeit on a much inferior airline (SV) and with a much longer layover (15 hours...) on the outbound!

I believe alpenrock is referring to QR going YYZ-KUL for the same price, when I flew YYZ-YUL, many of them are connecting QR flight at YUL, I saw QR staff waiting at the gate.

Regarding SV, it's not possible to transit through JED or RUH for over 12 hours without visa.

Not sure what you mean...

If you have a transit for more than 5 hours and meet other criteria you can apply for a free transit visa.

If you have a layover of more than 8 hours, there is no connection possible of less than 8 hours, the revenue component of your ticket is above a certain value than you may qualify for STPC (stopover paid for by carrier) . There are several criteria and more info is available on the STPC thread.

Just FYI there are dates you don't need to overnight in DOH when you come back.

and my next one at Intercontinental City. You need to get an Uber from airport, but very inexpensive and there are no food vouchers unlike the STPC when they give you food vouchers, but ifyou have breakfast and have the use of Al safwa or Al mourjan who needs outside food?

Hmm interesting. It does seem like a mistake by the AA to not include North America in the regional description.

Agree and why would it apply only to QR (so far as we know) versus the many other OW partners who fly out of Canada?

EDIT: I just checked the AA partner page and AY and IB are also missing Canada on the list.
