Singapore Airlines CMB - CGK $434 RT, CMB-MEL $1,155 RT

- Singapore has put J seats out of CMB on sale, note that some CMB-SIN are operated by Silkair's 737

- earns 125% on Krisflyer

- shows only on Google Flights and SQ website

- likely more destinations

That happens probably due to the requirement that the outbound CMB-SIN leg MUST be on a Silkair flight and not a SQ operated flight.

Hey HKtraveller20, try Expedia or one of the OTA's. The fare could also have disappeared by now. I managed to get one at the $1155 ( about a week or so ago ) but sometimes after a few days/weeks they reprice. So you could be out of luck. Alternatively, just keep trying different dates, you might jag one at the low price.

Thanks for the posting, great fare.

I've found availability CMB-BNE-CMB for the dates I would like (unfortunately no MEL) but the aircraft is showing as an A330-300 SIN-BNE-SIN. I'm not really familiar with SQ's product but looking at their website the A330-300 falls into the 'regional' Business Class category? Or do they also have A330's fitted with the same/similar product as their 777's/A380's? Thanks.

A330 is just angled lie flat Best part is the satay - for me.

Would it be okay to get off at SIN on the way back instead of flying to CMB given I will not have checked bags?

The best way to do that is to take flights with a long layover between in SIN, that way you are unlikely to get pushback from Immigration in SIN

There's one refitted 772 on the SIN-BNE route with a 1-2-1 business layout, otherwise it's regional business all the way! (Which I find is ok for a day flight)
