For any BA flyers out there, note that this will earn 140 x 3 x 2 = 840TP.

One of these, one regular QR J return, plus 4 BA flights, and you're basically Gold!

What do you mean? Renewing BA Gold takes 1,500 TPs.

I simply meant:

840TP for this trip
+ 560TP for a "normal" QR trip to Asia
+ 4x BA flights @ 10TP each
= 1440 TP which is 96% of the Gold requirement.

Thanks for clarification, it's an outstanding fare for the TPs earned. Wish there was something similar for the other way round, originating CGK.

DOH to CGK gives 140 tier miles
Return trip 560 tier miles.

Calculations for Finnair plus
 

Interesting to see the calculations for BA. AY it seem FRA-DOH-CMB-CGK in J would results in 28800 points for return trip. For gold in Finnair plus you need 80000 so it seems BA program rewars enough to get 50% of points required to gold whereas finnait rewards only around 30%

Yup... BA tier qualifying is segment based, whereas AY is points based.
