SQ: ARN-Australia (SYD/MEL etc) in Business (D) rt £1,748

Singapore Airlines business class (D) fare from Sweden to East Coast Australia (return)

* Cheapest routing through DME, but transit through CPH, FRA and ZUR for an extra £150 or so
* ie. £1,748: ARN-DME-SIN-SYD-SIN-DME-ARN on A359 and A380
* Seems only to be bookable on SQ website or via call centre

* Fare basis D3CPWB (but I can't find it in EF)
* Book by 30 June 2017 for travel until 31 December 2018
* Minimum stay: Saturday night, maximum 12 months
* Cancel/change fee US$300; can upgrade
* Unlimited stopovers in Area 3

* Reasonable availability later in the year and 2018
* Sample dates: 13 - 22 February 2018

SIN too

Similar fare ARN to Singapore return £1,550 via CPH on 777. Looks slightly cheaper on the direct service via DME.

Any suggestions to maximize this is a MR starting from FRA?
Crediting miles to SK, so the CPH connection is preferable for me.

I actually found some flights in August as I have some time, but the weather is a problem. Would probably connect in Australia to fly to a different region. Already got a TG flight for the east coast in December.

wait until December 2017 to book

airfares are only bookable ~365 days in advance...plus any restrictions on dates imposed in the fare rules...

Thx I like this fare )

Am I correct in thinking it should earn 39689 award miles if credited to UA mileage plus?

This earns 100% if credited to UA or ~19,800 PQM's.

Thanks, I see where I went wrong, on the calculator I used %100 cabin bonus so essentially doubled your number )

i don't see anything in the fare rules which would prohibit it (VA metal is allowed, no hip checks for stopovers), but without checking I would guess that routing rules wouldn't allow for that

Great fare ! Works to :

AKL for 19,333 SEK = 1,995 EUR.
CHC for 19,263 SEK = 1,988 EUR

I never saw cheaper, if we set aside error fare (EK/QF) and super sale (GA).

Seems to be bookable via expedia.se

Thanks for posting !

To be fair QR regularly has it cheaper during their promotions, and even now is not much more expensive
