Xiamen Airlines: LAX - SYD 10/27 departure $2579 rt
Looks like only 10/27 departure but lots of return dates available for this fare. Lie fly seats all the way. Best price I've seen to SYD from LAX in J class.

Looks like it books into I (I got it to come up on CheapoAir only. But there is an interesting provision in there

Great way to get to Australia is pretty great style. Way cheaper than AA, DL, Qantas, etc. I am assuming.
Will be interesting to see if Xiamen keeps putting out good business class fares. Like an Asian Qatar. Not saying they're on Qatar's level, but you know what I mean.
