What do you mean, "connect"? It's a through-flight: MAN-LIT-NRT!

For those crediting to BAEC, you can throw in HEL for not very much more (Matrix says 1108.39 but it actually quotes on AA.com as $1,444.16 hence 1,123.36 for 600 Tier Points, so 1.87/TP), routing as follows:

Code:
05Jul MAN-HEL AY I 80
05Jul HEL-DUB AY I 40
06Jul DUB-ORD AA I 140
06Jul ORD-LIT AA D 40

09Jul LIT-ORD AA D 40
09Jul ORD-DUB AA I 140
10Jul DUB-HEL AA I 40
10Jul HEL-MAN AA I 80

Total Tier Points 600

Ok, so it's but it still raises an interesting question: While having it be a "through" flight would really suck for AA miles, does BA also consider such AA "through" flights to be 1 segment or 2 for Avios/TP purposes? I'm guessing 1.

I guess I better warn Tony the bartender at LIT about the possible sudden influx of FTers.

Tell him to get some Lost Forty on the taps there! Last time I went through they didn't have any.
