SV MXP-CGK ow start from 477 in J

as above, there are some availability from MXP (and FCO actually) to CGK, one way starts from 477 in J. mileage accrual around 10k-ish. the layover in JED is quite boring though as there is not so much to see at the airport.
bookable as early as tomorrow :)

The SV lounge in JED is crowded and freezing, but they have a (cold-water) shower, and decent food.

I don't think you need a visa for transit, right? If you want to stopover you might have problems if you have an Israeli stamp or visa.

You need a visa if the connection is 12+ hours, and not many consulates issue a transit visa anymore...

Trust me, I've tried many many times :(

Correct, as per TIMATIC (courtesy of emirates.com):

TWOV (Transit Without Visa):
Holders of onward tickets for a max. transit time of 12 hours.
Only one transit stop-over in Saudi Arabia is permitted.

I think YMMV :)

When were you there?

A330 on IST-RUH, for example, is NOT lie-flat, though very decent seats.
Try to route thru RUH, the lounge there is amazing, the best Skyteam lounge out there.

My friend buy a ticket CMN-JED-CAN transit for 13 hours not leaving airport and refuse boarding

right. one of the downside is transit visa really difficult to get. however for someone who travels to SEA quite often (ex EU), the offer isnt that bad and transit time was alright :D
i was at JED lounge yesterday, the lounge was a bit busy, didnt go for shower, the food was okay (the finger food was almost finished though and they didnt restock). the breakfast looked yummy as they have waffle with vanilla sauce :p
look forward to RUH lounge next friday!
