Seems to be a mistake - availability is going fast as I manually click-through OTA. Requires a connection through XMN Xiamen International Airport.

Try booking direct on Xiamen's site. Was able to get through to confirmation page, though didn't try buying.

also - fwiw I'm seeing a lot of below-average j fares all around Asia/Oceania if you're willing to connect in XMN. e.g., $2,500 lax-mel, $2,200 lax-bkk, etc. some itineraries have a rather painful connection though.

Definitely not a mistake. Great MQD run though: nets over $4000.

I don't believe this is bookable. It won't actually load up on any OTAs and trying those sample dates on Xiamen result in a fare around $3600, it is $1800 each way.

It does look like it is a legit fare, unlike the known Xiamen glitches in Google Flights, because I see a few dates with ~$900 each direction fares but they are usually next day departures (Aug 28-29 for example) which obviously wouldn't work.

Google Flights has been tripping out with Xiamen business fares quite a bit lately. I still see GF business fares from JFK to TPE and PEK for $1100 or less but when you try to book anywhere the price goes up over $3K.

EDIT: I did manage to find a few dates where this actually works on the Xiamen website but you really need to play around with the website some. Sept 11, 13, 15 departure and 20-21 return seems to work. I'm struggling to find any other dates, although Xiamen's US website is one of the least user friendly websites I've ever encountered.

Yeah once I clicked through a bunch of dates using the +7 feature I see a few ~$900 each ways pop up but clicking through only a handful seem to be working. This website is brutal. Best dates I found were depart 9/11-13-15, return 9/20-21. Also 9-29 depart, 10/3-4 return. Couldn't find much else.

Now if I could get the $1100 JFK-PEK or $1000 JFK-TSA/TPE Xiamen fares Google Flights is showing to book, we'd really be in business.

Routing rules:

You may have more luck finding availability if you construct segment by segment. Note you need either SEA-SZX or LAX-TAO for the transpac. Not terribly difficult to fin "I" class on one of those. I can only imagine the fun transit times to get the rest of this to line up!
