Sri Lankan: BKK-SEZ $885 in biz
This might be posted already, but I couldn't find it..
Bangkok - Seychelles in J, via Colombo, for ~$885 r/t
Unfortunately both BKK-CMB and CMB-SEZ are flown on A320.
Not spectacular value but probably a decent deal for anyone in the region wanting to visit the islands. Books into class I.
Example dates: Sept 13th - Sept 20th

A good find, and even more valuable for earlier dates! You could do it this weekend as well, for just a dollar more than Economy.
One can get A330 instead of the A320s if you're on the right BKK flight - hopefully that makes it more palatable for anyone looking to doing it!

Just booked this.
For AA, 6711 miles * .20 = $1342.20 of spend.
Great value there, considering the ticket is $880 bucks right now.
Sadly, unless you want a 12 hour layover in CMB, the return flight involves A321 from CMB - BKK.

A330-300 business class is -exceptional-. A330-200 business class is good, but definitely older and not fresh like the 300. Service has always been great with Sri Lankan, regardless of the plane.
Seems like on the weekend routes from SIN-CMB the 330's are more likely than the 320's. Maybe this is similar for the BKK-CMB routes.
If I was only taking this deal if I could get on the 330 vs the 320 I am not sure I would do it, because I would be concerned about a plane/equipment swap. Not sure how set in stone these plane assignments are, especially for flights as far out as January, but my gut feel is they could change.

For anyone who can afford the time, don't let the 12 hour stopover put you off. I did it with them a few times last year to BKK and TYO in Biz and they provided a beach hotel for the 12 hours with dinner thrown in. Nice way to break the trip if you can afford the time.
