How do you know this fare is P classe?

Not an expert at all but ITA matrix shows D on the same itinerary that I can find on Kayak. Must admit there is a 400/500$ price difference.

Expedia shows it as P. Difference in price sounds about right for an 'upgrade' to D.

I'm not really interested in JNB, in the title. I'm delighted that Mighty's link offers BRU-CPT, which is much more my style.

Thumbs up Thank you OP!

Just got myself one to CPT, and one of my coworkers decided to join me on a whim and bought one herself! We're not going until Feb, but BRU is my 'home' airport now, so this is awesome!

Also got my son an Ethiopian ticket from LAX (via DUB, ADD) to join us for only about $740 (economy). Cape Town is definitely a Bucket List item for me, and this was the motivation I needed (and I've always wanted to fly ET just for fun).

Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Enjoy! ET gets a bad rap from a lot of people but I enjoyed their business product and to be fair their service in much of the cases is miles better than BA.

OOps changed it. Always get mixed up with those two.

Great feedback! ET is a decent airline, the new planes are really nice. If your bookings allows for it ask for a free transit hotel (if your layover is 8+ hours) and go explore the city with the complimentary visa.

South African immigration may require a yellow fever shot (though it is not always enforced). Keep in mind that SA immigration is crazy about children under 18 so make sure you have all the documents they require (it's a long list). Enjoy!
