Malaysia : KUL-BKK $221 RT

- likely of interest to BAEC Tier Point collectors - can you teach me where to look up the exact earning on non-BA flights?

- lot's of last minute dates - Economy is just $72 RT, pretty amazing

It books into Z Class, thus 40TP per leg.

BTW: I did two of them in November. Be aware that a direct turnaround in BKK is not very convenient. You will not be able to receive an online boarding pass for the flight BKK-KUL, so you have to go to Transfer Desk West, to reach it you have to pass security and show them a boarding pass(with some discussions we were able to make it). Ways are long, as MH quite ofen arrives/departs from A/B/C Gates.

Whenever I see ex-Malaysia deals I think of Penang

For $242 you can do PEN-KUL-BKK which yields 160TP.

Yes, always worth checking PEN - it's a hop, skip and a jump from KL, and most days there are a couple of flights with business class fares earning 40TPs for 40 quid or so ... also the guava juice and satay are very tasty (at least the first few times !!)

One simply doesn't have to step out of Malaysia for BAEC deals!

For $191 one can do PEN-KUL-JHB for 160TPs as well, or some other West Malaysian airport that MH flies into. It's almost ludicrous I haven't done any of them runs yet, despite being in a neighbouring country!
