Didnt they have this fare at the $2k mark for various dates during this summer?

Yes, you can buy any month of the year. But for the New year rate is very attractive

SQ had special fares when they announced the new route to ARN. It was about £1700 to AKL in J, but outbound had to start before mid December I believe. This offer looks around £2k but extend availability through to Feb 18.

Still can't get the free stopovers in SIN to work.
