Such a bummer I missed out on this. I was able to do several of these last year and visited all kinds of secondary Chinese cities for 1200-1300$ roundtrip in business while really boosting my SkyMiles account. Now only fares that work well are on AF or MU codes. KL and CZ earn less miles even on business. I wonder if these will ever come back on AF stock from anywhere in Europe to Asia for sub 1500$?

Air France and KLM have updates their fares today (2017-JAN-21) so that the prices are increased about 350-400 EUR.
China Southern (CZ) has decent fare to for example to Guangzhou.
Price is about 13.000 SEK incl. taxes.
Fare basis is IP2SE.

These Air France/KLM fares are booked in Z class and you get 125% award miles / 150% Medallion Qualification Miles on both airlines flights because this journey does not involve trans-atlantic travel (it's between Europe and Asia) nor you have to buy ticket from Delta.
