AMS-SFO in A on AA 2940Eur

AA codeshare on BA metal possible.
Similar fares available to SAN, SJC, PSP, SEA, PHX, LAS. Doesn't work to LAX though.
Slightly more ex CPH/ARN/OSL
BA operates a 380 on the second SFO run, which is the only F on BA worth flying.
Webfare that you need to book on the AA.com site from the country from which you're originating.
2 week advance. Books in A Class, open jaws possible.

Works from AMS, RTM, BRU to lots of West Coast destinations, with the cheapest destination being YVR for €2700.

Good find ^.

And indeed, ignore the price Google gives in the blue links. Just click on book with American and hey presto!

No, there is a 747 and an A380 flight to SFO. It works for both. To SJC the price goes up to £2700 but you get the 789.

Yes I agree, the 789 looks better than the 777 or the old 744 although I haven't tried it. Only 8 pax means you might eat within two hours after take off.

Ah, I get the point now. :D

777 is also pretty OK. Some people still find the 747 a class of its own, especially in 1A/K. I am not one of them. The 789 is great but they have some teething problems and with only 8 seats it can become a problem if one is unserviceable. Also no buddy seat, but I could not care less.

BA 789 has an excellent F cabin despite the narrow aisles.

That's ok, I'd rather have narrow aisles rather than narrow beds like on the 747!
Compared to CX and the new LX F beds, BA has a large gap to fill. But at $3K to west coast, its worth it.

Is there any way to book it under BA code?

He means to book as a BA ticket and stock so that crediting to AA gets more RDM and EQD.
