I have never been able to get a one way fare to price in half, whereas with *some* other airlines sometimes one way you can get as half (or near that) the fare.

La Premiere is a great experience and thanks for posting, but I think there will be very few (lucky) people who think 6k on a return fare is a deal.

I thought the forum was about Mileage Runs, and that all "fare deals" that don't qualify as low CPM should go to the "Good Deals" thread in Discussion... but I guess that's only for Y.

It's a good fare compared to what AF usually charges for FC, although the flights between CDG and BCN only offer EuroBusiness with some sort of meal and the middle seat blocked.

Allow lots of time to enjoy the La Premiere lounge at CDG.

I suspect that this might also work for MAD, so check if you're interested.

Still not what I'd call a "deal"... the $4000 rt fares last fall were closer to a deal http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/premi...-4-337-rt.html

True. I recently booked LHR-SIN via CDG which includes plenty of time in the CDG La Premiere lounge and over 12 hours in La Premiere each way. It was around $4700.

Not sure what they usually charge on this route, but that's still a lot of money for a plane ticket.

For those looking just to try it for the experience, I've often seen AF sell F on FRA-JNB for 4900. I think this is for the new F, but of course you would have to check and make sure.

I'm a hub captive, but I have and would in the future happily book a TATL RT USA-EU-USA on SkyTeam (DL/AF/KLM) in business class for approximately $2600, assuming that the schedules and routes are reasonable.

I suppose "reasonable" varies pretty widely around here. Last summer I grabbed a r/t SFO-CDG-IST DL fare (on AF metal) that was <$1400.

Flew over on AF's A380 and A320. The TATL segment doesn't have a lie-flat seat and the domestic leg is just an economy seat with good food. Not bad but not fantastic. I'd probably only pay more to fly on AF's new business class. DL/KLM metal might be more appealing \_(ツ)_/.

You'll have to time it to fly the 77W for it to be the new F, it's only twice a week, the rest is the A380.
