If I was in a position to take advantage of this route, I would def jump on this fare. I have flown KQ in J JNB-NBO-BKK on their 787 and was impressed with the service provided. It wasn't SQ level (nobody else is really) but it far surpassed my expectations.

NOTE - connecting arrivals from JNB (and at least some other international arrivals as well) must clear security again at NBO. Since many of their international flights are banked together, the line can be lengthy, even for premium pax. I would be cautious about scheduling a tight connection at NBO. My 90 minute connection in J was barely enough and I doubt that the Y pax made the connection. I cleared security, walked to my gate, and boarding was already underway.

NBO is rather easy to connect since it is a small airport, and if you have a short connection you can always ask assistance from the airport employees, or even just ask the people in the queue to move to the front.

On a recent CPT-NBO-AMS flight, the CPT-NBO flight was more than 1h later cutting the connection time short to about 50 minutes, it took me about 20 minutes gate to gate, without skipping any queues, there were about 20-25 PAX before me in the SkyP lane.

On the other side (the normal lane) some other PAX who were bound to the same flight were helped with moving to the front of the queue, although I don't think there was a need.

A short connection is risky in any airport, I would much rather have a 40 minutes connection in NBO than in AMS or CDG where you might spend half of this time just walking.
