Lots of dates and a few different routes available on a combination of LH, LX & UA metal.
Here's an example.
You get around 33,600 PQM on that route, which is pretty good if you ask me.
Also available to DEL.

I'm seeing several options for this fare (<$2400). On *A and OW.
TK (from ORD via IST) for $2312.
QR (via DOH) for $2322.
AC/LH (via YUL and ZRH) for 2337.
All in January 2017. Do an ITA low fare search for ORD-IST in January and you will find these fares.

Nice find, OP. There also are a few slightly sub-$2300 deals on Jet and Swiss via a quick check on Kayak, though they're with Online Travel Agencies, which aren't worth the potential hassle for such small savings.

Any way to get this to work out of SFO?
Trying to get a cheap fare out of SFO/SJC to DEL/BOM but nothing this cheap coming out. Given the coach fares are nearly $2k for my dates (1st week of Jan) might have to use these fares with a SFO-ORD back to back tickets which are ~$500 for my dates. Any suggestions? Also looks like this fare requires a 7 day stay.

Books into R which earns 125% RDM. No direct statement on UA site about EQM so maybe the actual distance flown?

Dumb question. I want to book on NON UA stock to get full RDM's, but want to go LH one way and LX on the way back. Any way I can achieve this -- i.e. do LH and LX have code sharing on this route? Otherwise the only way to do this is to book through Air Canada codeshares through YUL it seems...
