Thanks for the fare !

EZE-GRU sector on the return is in Economy though, unless you are okay with the 15 hour layover in GRU.

I think BCN is always the 767 though...

I noticed this also - but ex MAD. Same price - long stopover only on flight back and on a350 plus business sitll to BA. Seems that the outbound trip has to be before March 31 or the fare goes up to Ł1800 rt.

The fare is actually filed by JJ, whose merger with LA seems to be causing some headaches in a few systems.

Neither is this a LAN fare nor is LAN equipment permitted on the transatlantic route. Has to be JJ.

Buy before 23 November.

I've been looking at this flight, $1496US and was going to post it.
Same price out of MAD, but a shorter route so a bit more $/mi.

MAD is A350
BCN is B767

Can’t get MAD to price out, out of EZE
It seems that it would have to be AEP

So my dilemma is; do I do MAD>AEP on 350 for less miles and no lounge (I believe no lounge at AEP)
Or
The better $/mi deal out of BCN on a 767 which will require a BCN>MAD positioning flight.

Any input??

AEP is substantially more convenient if you are visiting the city centre.

Thanks for the info

I'll be staying a few days so this is not an issue.

There is no reason it should not. The fare is filed to BUE, not EZE specifically.

Many would jump at Aeroparque rather than Ezeiza: AEP is a downtown airport, like Congonhos is Sao Paulo - a short, cheap taxi ride (or even cheaper public transport!) into the city centre; while EZE is long and expensive taxi ride (though there's also a long but cheap airport bus).

AEP is small, you're through the formalities in minutes. EZE is, well, not so EZE (there's a joke in there somewhere).

I really don't see a lounge/no lounge as any sort of issue.

FYI, sometimes fares out of BUE give AEP but actually fly EZE.
i had this problem with Aerolineas Argentinas a couple of months back.

google flights / OTA messed up, or AR did not sure. but it had ghost flights with same numbers from both AEP and EZE.

DOULBE check from where you fly. it's messy.
