GA First class CGK - AMS 3200 euro return

I booked a r/t over Christmas, various dates in Oct/Nov/Dec still open. In some cases flying First works out cheaper then Business. 14144 miles (200% earning + possible elite bonuses) one way.

Also some good deals for business fares.

Weird that they don't show up on google flights (€5K+), only on GA website.

This fare is not published in the public fares tariff. Only agents authorized by GA will see it and can sell it.

CX does the same thing quite often.

Also available to LHR for €3,395 RT

Shame their Soft product for their First Class product has been "Enhanced".

No more 3 menus to choose from, you only get the Business Class menu and Business Class Alcohol Menu, no more emailing for special requests on the flights, etc. Shame really as it looked like a truly First Class over the top option.

Just flew GA F from LHR to CGK.

1. Had four entrees to choose from.
2. Caviar as a starter, pretty sure this was not offered in Biz.
3. Was not business class alcohol menu.
4. Did not try and special requests.
5. It was more first class than CX/JL (their ground service was amazing).

Thank you for your data points. My information was taken from the flights here about the cutbacks-

Garuda First Class Downgraded

and importantly here-

Garuda Indonesia First Class: Was it as “Good” as Five Stars? Almost… LHR-CGK-SIN

You are correct the caviar is not served in Business.

Looks like only via the Garuda website directly as SFO777 states mainly.
