Decent sale on AV, especially ex-LAX. We seldom see *A at this price.

FWIW, you can get Oneworld for ~$2400 including IB and AA flights on BA stock. Use AARP and CARDOFFERU and your cost is ~$1800 for a much more direct routing.

I think CARDOFFERU is only for an all BA routing.

I know... I meant that all BA routing was available too, as is IB/AA.

Also, I was looking ex-NYC. Maybe get be different ex-LAX.

Where are you seeing LAX-BCN for $1800 or even $2400 on Oneworld?

I can get it to price out with the AARP discount to about $2100 JFK-MAD. Nothing from LAX though :/

AV: JFK/LAX - MAD/LHR/BCN RT $1950-$2100 various dates
Finding around the $2,000 range for round trip to various destinations many dates through next year. Gotta go south to go east, but not a BAD price, not great either.

AV: LAX-LHR via BOG $2,185 USD
I was looking for flights LAX-LHR. Along with the usual collection of non-stops at significantly higher prices, I saw this fare from AV.

Fun for those who have some spare time and want the extra mileage for *A. I could not see the fare class on the AV site during the booking process.

There are a few dates in December but it is mostly available in January to mid-February, and mostly Tuesdays. It may be 7-day fare. AV lists it as "Business Promo".

Routing is on B787 on the 4 segments I was looking at.

It's not free of course, but interesting.
