MH: BKK-KUL r/t in Biz 150 Euro

Hi folks,

MH is selling cheap business class tickets from BKK to KUL. Roundtrip is around 150 Euros (3000THB) per Person. It books in Z, which earns 40TP at BAEC and around 1000 Avios.

This fare is only available online at MH with departure and POS in Thailand. You can still bookt it as a foreigner with an overseas credit card.

ADVANCE RES/TICKETING

          reservations are required for all sectors.

MINIMUM STAY

          travel from last stopover must commence no earlier than 2 days after departure from fare origin.

MAXIMUM STAY

          note - general rule does not apply travel from last stopover must commence no later than 1 month after departure from fare origin.

STOPOVERS

          4 stopovers permitted on the pricing unit at thb 1500 each. note - stpc not applicable

TRANSFERS

          note - general rule does not apply unlimited transfers permitted on the pricing unit fare break and embedded surface sectors permitted on the fare component.

PERMITTED COMBINATIONS

          circle trips not permitted. end-on-end not permitted. side trips not permitted applicable add-on construction is addressed in miscellaneous provisions - category 23. open jaws fares may be combined on a half round trip basis -to form single or double open jaws. open jaws note - the most restrictive rules apply for the entire journey provided - combinations are with any fare for carrier mh in any rule in any tariff. round trips fares may be combined on a half round trip basis -to form round trips. round trips note - the most restrictive rules apply for the entire journey provided - combinations are with any fare for carrier mh in any rule in any tariff.

BLACKOUT DATES

SURCHARGES

PENALTIES-CHANGES/CANCEL

HIP/MILEAGE EXCEPTIONS

TICKET ENDORSEMENT

          the original and the reissued ticket must be annotated - nonend-check-in 2 pcs max - and - charges apply - in the endorsement box.

CHILDREN/INFANT DISCOUNTS

          accompanied child 2-11 - charge 85 percent of the fare. ticketing code - base fare code plus ch or - infant under 2 with a seat - charge 85 percent of the fare. ticketing code - base fare code plus ch or - infant under 2 without a seat - charge 10 percent of the fare. ticketing code - base fare code plus in or - unaccompanied child 5-11 - charge 100 percent of the fare. ticketing code - base fare code plus ch. note - unaccompanied child under 5 years of age will not be accepted for caariage

          no discounts for tour conductors.

AGENT DISCOUNTS

          no discounts for agents.

Roundtrip fare is about 6,600 THB (~€170). The 2,500 THB is price of a one-way without taxes (with roundtrip purchase required) ;)

What is your point? Being picky? Read my Title, where I post it for 150 Euros. I paid 307 Euros for 2 Persons incl. taxes.

MH has very good fares ex BKK and the Cathay Pacific Lounge is nice as well.

It's not very useful though to quote prices in EUR ex Bangkok as the exchange rate goes up and down.

I can't find a €150 return fare anywhere - could you provide some sample dates please? Cheapest I can find it throughout the year is €291 round trip booking into D. Even knowing when you booked yours for would be helpful. Thanks! :D

Great, thanks! It is there and working - as mentioned it's the MH BUSINESS PROMO fare and prices out at around €163. Thanks for posting OP!

Does MH ever run promotion in J class ex Thailand for more than 30 days ticket?

Just remember that MH intra-Asia is a dry airline with 737's, Y-quality food in C and general area of failure.
It's a good fare but personally I rather fly TZ for similar money

I would choose a full service airline as compared to a budget airline if the price was similar.

Thanks for the heads-up that the ex-BKK promo fares are back ...

To be picky though ( :) ) some of the questions above about the fare may arise as your original post says 150 Eur / 3000 THB return (actually though 6000 THB).

Nope- you can however buy the OW at half price on an ASEAN open jaw and drop the second leg.

You'll have to figure out the return yourself along with the cheap shots at the airline.

I'm Sydney based. Purchased a CMB - SYD J return (6 months max), depart in Nov and return in end of Feb, will drop last leg so I could fly to SIN instead.

Bought another SIN - SYD J return (3 months max). Now I'm planning another trip to Phuket, so a ticket ex Thailand with at least 2 months would be a lot more doable.

The BKK KUL BKK fare in J with Malaysia can be as low as THB6000. Within exchange rate fluxes that's a bit over EUR150.

I paid a smidge under £130
