Vs: Usa - lhr pe $660

VS is pricing PE for what appears to be less than Y at the moment. Seeing availability from all East Coast hubs (which is what matters for me).

Combined with the $200 off over $1k on the AMEX that's 2x RT PE for $1120.

Might be canceling the DL award ticket and just going with this instead..

EDIT: Still there just can't mix NY airports and have to book 1 person at a time. Booked into K. Fare rules allow 2 stopovers - with DL codeshares it's possible to route the return through actual city of origin and throwaway the last flight up to NYC the next day.

EDIT: Appears gone - disappeared before I pulled the trigger.
I saw MCO-GLA lower in PE than Y but only on the outbound. It was only about $15 cheaper and I thought I read this happens occasionally on Virgin?

Thanks great deal. I booked it for thanksgiving. VS PE is really good, flew it LHR-JFK last year. Going to try to upgrade my ticket to J for 20K VS miles in one of the direction since I have some orphaned miles in my VS account.

fantastic K fare 150% Delta MQM http://www.wheretocredit.com/virgin-atlantic/k

Google flights into DL or VS both work. OTAs work too - you have to use an OTA if you want anything more interesting than a straight NYC - LHR - NYC (unless you call but don't call).

Also $800 from PDX, which is competitive with LCC Icelandair's economy pricing

Bloodsucking bloggers have stolen your work.
Wouldn't it be nice if hat tip included an actual "tip"?

Thanks for the heads up. Booked one for me and two for family members. Booking on the VS website seems to book the flight in K class, on the DL website in W class. That's 125% vs. 150% of flown miles if crediting to VS.

Are you can get 150% for this? I booked via DL which was showing a W fare but that mapped to an H fare for VS. Both VS K and H fares seem to be 125% when crediting to VS and DL's W, at least according to http://www.wheretocredit.com/delta-air-lines/w, doesn't show anything for crediting to VS.

Thanks for the tip ! Grabbed one for late April to visit my BFF

ps : VS K credits 100% award miles to SQ (but 0% KrisFlyer elite qualifying ones for TATL). Since I don't care for DL status, personally, 100% SQ miles to redeem SQ R is more valuable than 125% DL miles.
