My wife is pushing to jump on this fare, but I really dont know if I can handle premium economy for almost 20 hours. Is it like domestic first class and then just add on the leg rests? I have seen pictures of it, doesnt look to bad, but I just dont know.

Regarding upgrades: I’ve never had my requests clear, even as KF Gold. Maybe they do for PPS.

I just returned yesterday from SIN-FRA-JFK on SQ26 in PE. Quite bearable and almost enjoyable compared to Y. I had a window seat, there is some space between it and the side panels, which I liked. Seats are very comfortable, nicely padded. One can order meals ahead of time, quite tasty. And PE is often less crowded than Y, cabin was half full from FRA to JFK.
I dont even want to comment on the quality of service, compared to US carriers.
Regarding upgrades: I’ve never had my requests clear, even as KF Gold. Maybe they do for PPS.

thank you! I just checked for next March and the weekend departures are almost double the cost unfortunately, if anyone can fly midweek, this is a great deal!
If credited to UA, looks like 100% PQM and 100% RDM based on distance.
A few of the itins to Singapore were routed through LHR (VS) or SFO (VX) - not sure if these are creditable to UA
