huh, loaded june 4th...wasn't there on june 1st when SQ announced SQ21/22 (and updated fare basis then), wonder why not

books into P too, PE Standard (not the cheapest R bucket)

nonstop is $100 more expensive on base fare, but you save $49.50 on the FRA stopover tax

My wife is pushing to jump on this fare, but I really dont know if I can handle premium economy for almost 20 hours. Is it like domestic first class and then just add on the leg rests? I have seen pictures of it, doesnt look to bad, but I just dont know.

Yes. Bit better on pitch in some cases, but pretty similar space wise to domestic F overall.

For someone with somewhat broad shoulders, not at all. Unlike domestic first class, PE seats are only slightly wider than economy and if someone who's wide enough sits next to you, it totally sucks.

I just returned yesterday from SIN-FRA-JFK on SQ26 in PE. Quite bearable and almost enjoyable compared to Y. I had a window seat, there is some space between it and the side panels, which I liked. Seats are very comfortable, nicely padded. One can order meals ahead of time, quite tasty. And PE is often less crowded than Y, cabin was half full from FRA to JFK.

I dont even want to comment on the quality of service, compared to US carriers.

Regarding upgrades: I’ve never had my requests clear, even as KF Gold. Maybe they do for PPS.

Nice t hear you had a great experience. I am hoping since we are doing the non-stop from EWR, premium economy will be bearable. I went a head and purchased the tickets, either I will be glad I did it, or say I will never do this again. I have always flown business class so this will be the first time going PE.

Pardon me for asking a "noob" question about UA, so base on your post, 100% PQM/RDM if credited to UA (as long as it's not a 016 number) so how many EQDs(elite qualifying dollars?) would this trip generate (just a ball park)?

EQDs (or PQDs in UA-speak) are only granted for 016 tickets.
