QR travel festival deals now on. Good business class deals ex-EU
Another Qatar sale. Some prices quite good. Need to book by 6th September and travel between 15th September 2016 and 30th June 2017.
Just booked our flights to Sydney from Oslo and back to Hel for £1599 per person. Not bad although not as good as the January sale.

You're converting to the price of Sterling at today's rate versus exchange rate in Jan for comparison. Better comparison is NOK to NOK for ex-Oslo fares.

The conversion accentuates the differences, but even within currency most deals are not nearly as good, oz prices being a good example (roughly +30-40% within currency from the various Nordic starting points)

thanks OP. do you happen to have a link? I can't get anywhere near 1599 pounds. The fare page says OSL-SYD return 23319 NOK which is more than 2100 GBP.

Do you need to punch in a promo code during booking?

On the website it says 'companion deals' AMS-SYD voor 2349 deals p.p. RT in Business. Can't seem to find any options in their online system.

Anyone any ideas?

    Sorry I am new to this. I did a search on ita matrix first. The itinerary was
    OSL-DOH-SYD ON 13/5/17 and return SYD-DOH-HEL on 28/5/17. Hope that helps. Ended up booking on Expedia to prevent non-sterling credit card fees.

    Hmmm, that kinda sucks... Do you know if this is typical for these deals, or do Qatar or other airlines have the same deals with a longer stay sometimes?

    There are different Min/Max stay depending on destinations.
    For example, fares to Dubai has 4 days minimum stay while to other destinations in Asia, Africa, South Pacific have 7 days minimus stay.

    Ok. But it seems that maximum stay for this fare is continuously 30 days.

    If anyone else finds something that goes past 30 days, I would love to hear...!

    QR: lots of great deals out of HEL
    Qatar has many great deals in biz until Sep 5th.

    The best I saw was ~1100€ when booking for 2pax HEL-DOH-HND which books in to R.
