This is similar to the PEK fare that was discussed recently, with a stopover in HKG in the return journey, only this time the actual destination is CTU. If this is useful to you, book soon in case they introduce the 2 days max stopover rule again.

Indeed very similar to the Spain-CTU fare (IBRES60 for the dates above rather than IBRES28) discussed in the second half of this thread:

Cheapest I can get is US$2000+-. It's still a good deal, but not $1580.

I haven't taken it to booking yet, but ITA is showing the US$1570 fare pretty regularly. You can even do a calendar search on the MAD-CTU round trip, and that would give a good indication of when the I fare is available.

Note that if you want to add an additional stopover in London on the way back, it is available for an extra US$40 or so in taxes. Doing the stopover on the outbound is more expensive, given the UK tax rules for long-haul premium cabin flights.

I can not believe what I am seeing on Expedia!

For some reason it doesn't let me click through but I saw this astonishing offer on Expedia -- book flight and hotel stays and get 100% off flights!!!

Now I am offered by Expedia to buy flights and hotel stays in Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong for $11371 HKD and other cheaper hotels form $4393, INCLUDING FLIGHTS!!!

Can someone tell me if they also see this offer and if it worked for them?

Are you sure that it is in HKD, not in USD?

Must be USD. If you look in the top right corner it also give the US phone number for expedia. If this were in HKD then you would be paying 610HKD/night for the MO without the flights so it is definitely not in HKD, otherwise it is the mistake of the century
