As title says, AA attack on DL hubs. 7 days ap, 3 days min stay, no stopover, 3 transfers, fairly decent MPM fare. Books in I for HKG-LAX and A on domestic legs.

That's a nice fare. Did a few searches and saw quite a few options that allowed to connect via DFW on the 777 with new J.

How come it can't be XXX-HKG-XXX SLC SFO Anywhere close for to get to from LAX.. but for LAX these are not bad fares. 5k plus usually..

The fare is only valid on certain days (but when I last checked it was available through the end of loaded schedules). Are you using google flights to see what days it is valid for? That is how I found the two I booked.

I looked at the post again. This is originated from HKG, not US. Fares are usually lower from HKG than from US.
The fare HKG - ATL is now $2951 only some days, other days are almost 5K. $2951 is still good price though.
