also, watch out as the P fare is only EUR 32 less, so even if it looks right, double check the fare basis....

Fare basis is DFFZEU07 BCN to MEX but it is NOT full flex, 250 EUR cancel/refund fee, no stopover allowed, 7 days advanced purchase, max stay 3 months, min stay saturday/6 days. It is most likely the correct P price and rules with wrong fare basis and booking class. Note this should be upgradable to F with staralliance miles.

At least for Aeroplan/AC FFers, this is not upgradeable to F on any carrier.

Tempting, however, MUC only has the A340, and its one of the rare night flights from Europe to North America. Departs MUC 22:35 and lands in MEX 13 hours later at 4:50 am. With a flat bed one could sleep for 9.5 hours and arrive refreshed and ready for the day.

Also the late departure via MUC allows easy same day positioning into BCN (some risk I know)

Yes it is.... still a better than average fare for me. P fare is twice as much.
