*A BOS-LIS $1,700 ai Now - Oct

Playing around for J flights ex-BOS for a multicity CPH and MAD trip end of July/beginning of Aug and plugged in LIS as a positioning city on Google Flights for the heck of it and found as low as $1,700 on TAP, $1,724 on UA/LH metal, etc. etc. Figured not a terrible price...looks like it is good through Oct.

Found BOS-JFK-MAD-LIS RT on AA/IB in July so I can get the 25,000 AA bonus. Booked through BA so I got the AARP discount--$1332 out the door.

I booked directly through BA's site as you must in order to get he AARP discount so I don't have a link. I will say their site is horrendous at giving flight options. It almost seemed like it would just arbitrarily return different flight options at different times. I found the flights initially on google flights, but it said to call BA to book. I am going Tuesday through Monday, but now it appears that you need at least 7 days (i.e. Monday to Monday) to get the lowest fare. If you want to choose all BA flights, it will be more, but then you can use the extra 10% code as well, which still brings it to $1450ish I think.
