Most place in mid to eastern Canada to most of the major Asia ports. One way. 11430 miles & 17150 EQM.

If you do it through the Finnair website, you can even get it to go YYZ-ORD-HEL-HKG for same price. Most days you can get the A350 out of HEL.
Stopover allowed in HEL.

I apologise if I am wrong, but I posted it because I could not make the return work for any dates that suited me (very little works over 2 months) but I could make the one way dates work in with awards flights and other possible itineraries that I was looking at.
Most J o/w flights are almost as expensive as the return and this wasn't even compared to the very cheap fare.

Many of the threads you cite are expired fares and/or require RT. I found the OP's post appropriate and helpful, since I'm transitioning from ex-YYZ tickets as I'm moving to BKK.
