AA: LHR - EZE/GRU/GIG via US in J £1432 (+free stopover)

I was looking for a convenient way for a colleague to get to EZE from London. As he is travelling with family an ex-EU or complicated routing wasn't viable.
Adding LHR-CDG leg at the end of the journey brought the price down considerably and makes it a great price out of London!

Stopovers in the US are also allowed. Works for DFW, MIA, JFK.

Cool, but the first leg in your itin (LHR-JFK) is in Y, all else in J

First leg books into I on aa.com so it will be J all the way.

AA also still have the ams-xxx-bcn flight in J which is somewhere on the premium deals, with xxx being in South American for £1240 with EZE being an option when I checked. Can also route through lhr if planning to be sneaky on the last leg. £60 lhr to ams so will still save about £140 pp plus extra miles

Yes, only realised that now too. I priced it up directly on AA and there all legs are in J for the same price (actually slightly cheaper). Seems to be an issue on Google flights.

Also works for several caribbean islands, like UVF and SXM for around GBP 1190.

Substitute CDG with AMS and EZE etc goes down to GBP 1318.

You can also do things like EDI-AMS or EDI-HEL as the last flight. Several months later if you want. Plenty of possibilities.

Sure.

GBP 1343

For the BAEC TP runners: LHR-JFK-MIA-EZE-JFK-BOS-JFK-LHR-AMS for GBP 1381

Start in JER to add another 40TPs and the price drops to GBP1222.

I saw that it's also available with DL with or without CDG...
2200-2300USD with a stop over in the US if you really want to...
Example:http://goo.gl/flights/EVU7

I will probably do the AA one, found it on relevant dates when I am in the US anyway, so good change for an EZE run when I need to be in the states anyway...

This time last year I did AMS-LCY-MAD-GRU and EZE-LHR-AMS for around that price. Not bad for the distance. Only criticism was MAD-GRU was Iberia, and a late equipment change meant I was in the crappy older J product. Was not happy at all when I boarded the plane to discover that.

Howdy!
Can you help me understand how can one find a J fare?

I was able to find a in I: AMS-LHR-JFK-DFW-EZE-DFW-JFK-CDG with stopovers in DFW for USD 2,000.

Thanks! S.-
