Red face TG KHI-BKK-SYD return in J/F $3200 USD

I know I know, KHI isn't exactly an ideal departure point for most but I thought the fare was interesting nevertheless.

According to wheretocredit.com, J class earns 200% on Miles&more and P class earns 300%. Total miles earned would be approximately 37,000 if credited to Miles&More.

Given TG's excellent award availability, wouldn't this be much cheaper to buy with Lifemiles (even at full price?!)

KHI and ISB have quite a few nice westbound premium fares filed too, which price very low because the fare construction picks the local carrier that takes you to DXB/BAH/JED/KWI etc as the plating carrier.

That said, if you really don't have any reason already to be in PK, flying there to start a good deal is probably not advisable.

186,000 miles round-trip equals $2800 plus $700 in taxes/fees so I don't it will be cheaper at all by using miles. Plus you earn 300% miles with those booking classes. Buying miles to redeem doesn't make sense at all, actually.

Same Deal from India

1 TG 324 J 20MAY 5 DELBKK DK1 1140 1735 20MAY E 0 777
2 TG 475 P 20MAY 5 BKKSYD DK1 1920 0720 21MAY E 0 747
3 TG 476 P 30MAY 1 SYDBKK DK1 1000 1620 30MAY E 0 747
4 TG 315 J 30MAY 1 BKKDEL DK1 1755 2055 30MAY E 0 773

Same deal from DEL/BOM/BLR/HYD/MAA/CCU with DEL/BOM being the cheapest. Approx. USD 3,250. One way around USD 1,760.

Also great deals to HKG and TYO, with India-BKK being Business Class and the rest First Class. HKG from USD 1,470 and TYO from USD 2,280 return. More or less half the price for one-way.

exIndia works too indeed.

around $3500 to Fra is available too. AFAIK TG does not fly to the US but there is a QR/BA/EY combo for $3600 from KHI to JFK that may be of interest.

This $3100 return in F from BOM to JFK on Swiss maybe cooler. I'll start a thread. Never mind. Fooled by Continental's P fare. Books into Business....
