AY J sale: YYZ-BKK/HKG/PEK/PVG for USD$2600 (CAD$3300)

9 days left on this sale. The BKK route has the A350.

It's on their site. 9 days left in the sale.

PVG has A350 as well, PEK should get it around the same time as BKK.

Thanks for posting.

The booking calendar goes out to just a month or two shy of when I'll be flying over to Hong Kong. I hope it comes back again. Those Finnair 350A photos look very nice.

$2600 is a pretty good deal, right ?

I can't make out from their website if it is also available from other Canadian cities ?

I've seen similar prices available from YUL and YYC for select days. I think you can book HKG directly on AY's website, but with some of the other Asian destinations (e.g., BKK), I've had to use third party sites like Hipmunk.

From JFK, the price is around US$3,000, give or take depending on the destination--more expensive but still a decent deal, no need to connect through LHR, and (for myself) no need to reposition.

These prices have been around for months.

I've been able to price over the phone with Finnair. Closer to 3500 CANADIAN

Now 5 days left...

I'd be more happy if AY offers year round direct flights from YYZ !

True...but you get some extra segments with this price.

I also noticed some returns routing HEL to ORD on the A330...so skipping LHR, which is nice.

And FWIW, this deal was around earlier in the year on AY metal from YYZ. Have to wait until their summertime schedule opens up, I guess.

AY is unfortunately not continuing YYZ service on S16, instead they have increased the frequency to ORD and operate MIA also in summer.

That's interesting. How come they bother with this sale then? Weird

Grabbed Seats JFK-BKK for late winter for Mrs 110pgl and myself.

Should give us about 27,000 points for AA qualification next year. (18,000 miles)

May see if the budget can afford a second set of tickets for later in the year. Two trips getting us half way to requalifying EXP is not bad.

Yup...and prices are still there despite the sale period having ended.

Noticed that QR pricing is similar (needs to be booked on OTA).

YTZ-YUL (on Porter)-DOH-SIN

Same in reverse. I'd seen it routing through PHL as well. It prices out at $3600 on Qatar's website, and not on all the days shown on google flights.
