DL: NYC>SCL Biz $1700 RT
 
Was just helping a friend book an economy ticket at $399 and saw the Opportunity to Upgrade for $1200. Decided to investigate and saw that outright PAID business class with a stop in ATL (then direct ATL>SCL) was going for $1714 AI RT. Pretty great fare that at the moment doesn't seem to be matched. If only AA would get in the game.

Dates: Seeing Now - February with emphasis on the new year.

Didn't pull fare rules but I'm sure an evangelist will be happy to help.

This certainly could be useful to some, but I don't think this is an op-up, as those are usually free ^

I've seen OPportunity Upgrades take on quite a few definitions, many paid. In Delta it actually usually books into OP class. I just mentioned it to note how I found that the actual business sale (I/Z) was occurring outright. Cheers.

I've never heard that term, especially on DL.
