(Business) VS,DL LHR-ORD,ATL $1,577.90 in Oct
Looks like a very restrictive Z fare to CHI but 1 free stopover premitted so you may be able to route to other cities. ATL worked for me.

Rare to find a fare this low ex-UK. DL or VS metal.

Also *A seems to have a number of flights from LHR - JFK/EWR for ~$1875. Wide open availability between now and year-end

This is definitely worth a look, but it has to be booked by tomorrow.

Delta's multi city tool seems to be the most handy way to take advantage of stopovers. If miles matter make sure you are picking all VS flight numbers or all DL flight numbers.

A TATL business class RT for $3,000-4,000 is still a good deal.
