MH BKK-PEK 251USD one way/book by NOv 13
Found an interesting ticket, not sure if it is really good or maybe some people won't take it because the second leg is KUL-PEK
On MH, one way BKK-PEK through KUL (3488 actual miles), books into promo fare Z class, is 240USD on their website, 276 on expedia or orbitz. Sample date is Nov 8, 9, 10. Seems like bookable until Oct 26, round trip open jaw should be ok too but haven't checked.
EDIT: Bookable by NOV 13, Orbitz quotes the same price with MH at $251

Thank you so much OP!
Picked one up on Orbitz (tried to do it on MH.com, but it wouldn't let me book through with my credit card for some reason...). A bit more expensive on Orbitz, but I'll be in BKK and wanted to get to PEK to visit a friend for a few days.
Heads up that you can do open jaw like BKK-PEK then HKG-BKK for the same price. Amazing deal!

Huh, I saw $172 one way in Feb 2015 when I looked earlier (about 5500 Baht a/i). I don't see that fare any more on malaysiaairlines.com.
Equipment is A330; I thought it was a 777 KUL-PEK (yikes) but actually "777" is MH's published distance in nautical miles from BKK-KUL.
(Spotted this fare via my wife reading a blogger's Twitter feed which mentioned the deal but did not, iirc, mention FlyerTalk. Interesting.)
