Absolutely not. It's been around for ages. I booked last March, flew in May

Think hiima is referring to the other F fare from Germany for less than this.

Now about US$1800+

Was looking to see if I could avoid BA J, as I have an MXP-LHR-PVG RT on BA which was about US$1900+. Seems that it's still around, but pricing at $1800 and all BA metal.

BA has set up a precedent with the ex-Germany F cancelations. Sadly no booking with BA is safe until you are on the plane at 35,000 feet.

Just a heads up that this deal is still bookable (until 24 Sept)....I think it was meant to go away on the 17th.

Prices not quite as fantastic as earlier in the year (From €1,578 or approx. $1,800) but still pretty darn good

Might be, I (business) or T (economy plus) code is required.

Where do you want to go?

Actually took a look at it again, I need to be in HKG and BKK, and saw that going something like BER-LHR-BKK-HKG opens a lot of availability , almost all of the month of October, instead of just doing BER-LHR-HKG...
But looks that you can not do a stopover of more then 2 days in each direction...

Albeit not in this sale, but in the previous sale, I booked:

FRA-LHR-SIN-HKG-CGK return - with a couple of days in Jakarta before returning.

It will net me 840 TPs according to Manage My Booking, and came in at around £1100.

Might be useful for those looking at a TP run opposed to a holiday.
