Delta One JFK to LAX/SFO $1196 A/I R/T
These are on the non stop flat bed flights. Not a bad deal at all for the premium transcon flights. I only had time to check dates in August. Doesn't seem to be a minimum stay requirement

Trying to match the standard B6 Mint price it would seem.

AA is matching the business class fare. Not only that, you can buy a combination of F and J on AA for $1400.00 on JFK to LAX/SFO. Not to shabby.

I see UA at $1237 in August.

Or $1597 all in F on AA.

This fare generally works with other flights as well and works as a OW in some instances though it appears typically the OW is not half of the RT. However, a couple weeks ago I snagged RDU - JFK - SFO for $661 so it is out there.
You can do a R/T on most of these RDU - JFK - SFO (and presumably other origination cities) for ~$1400 - 1600 which isn't a bad premium to snag a flatbed across the country (plus F to/from JFK). |

At those prices I would guess P, but this is pure speculation on my part.
Crediting to AS will provide a 50% COS bonus for JFK/SFO and 75% for RDU/JFK which isn't bad for a $661 ticket for a flight I had to buy one way or another and will yield roughly 4750 miles on AS (with 500 minimum for RDU/JFK) compared to the 4200 DL would've given me by virtue of receiving temporary DL silver status via targeted email and I consider the AS miles to be significantly more valuable than DL. The AA flights I looked at were booking into Q (no F on AA's RDUJFK flights only RDULGA) and I (for JFKSFO). Ultimately the DL fit better into my schedule despite the miles bonus AA is offering to AA Gold (and now non-status as well) for paid F / J travel. Plus I'm curious to see how the DL product compares. |

AA must have dropped the price on F RT. I mean, if there ever was a reason to try AA's F product on JFK to LAX, this is it.

Anyone have luck booking the AA J/F fare one-way? I can only see it coming up if I do a round trip.

i know i am going to need an MR before end of year to re-up MVPG, this would be the preferred way to do it, the problem is i don't know if i will need this many miles...or more...or less... :(
