AA Business DUB-West Coast/Hawaii €1500/$1700

The $2k cheap biz fare ex-DUB just got cheaper! Fare dropped to €1500/$1700, with plenty of availability. Destinations I've checked so fare are LAX/SFO/SEA/OGG/HNL. A great deal with the 115k bonus miles for the summer travel, valid on AA and BA
Adv purchase: 28 days
Availability: Outbound Jun 25-Aug 22, Nov 23- Nov 30, Dec 18 - Jan 04, Mar 28- April 12

I was worried a bit about requalify for EXP when moving to DUB, who knows could this be so easy

Can maximize the AA 12k RDM bonus for DFW-HNL by routing DUB-LHR-SFO-DFW-HNL (and vice versa).
Comes out to $2006 for 120300 RDM and 45130 EQP.

Add $670 each way to fly the LHR-SFO segment in F on the BA A380 (books into A, so it also bumps the RDM bonus from 3.5k to 12k for that segment).

It gets better - the F fare books into full F for DFW-HNL, which will net 3x EQP instead of 2x.

What's the math behind the 120,300 RDM? Thinking of shifting from BAEC to AA at the moment and this would be a good opportunity to get the account started with some significant mileage in it.

I think it refers to both 115k-Promo (3xrt) and the year-long promo under the premise that you're already an EXP.

Anywho, the exact calc would be nice and if you'd want to jump ships - ask for a challenge into Platinum, which will probably be successful with this itin. If you get the challenge, you'll likely get Gold for the duration of that challenge, too.
If there's no big devaluation coming this/next year, many more will jump ships, including me.

thanks OP. have put DUB-LHR-JFK-SFO-JFK-LHR-CPH on hold for £1073, which is enough for me to reach BAEC Gold ^

Nice routing. Haven't looked at the fare rules just yet but are stop overs allowed?

For those who have the misfortune to credit to UA and DL, they have also matched this fare....

I don't believe that is correct. The F fare books into "A" which is still a 2X the EQP with the promo.

So if you paid extra to get F, their would be no difference in EQP. F books as "A" which earns the same as "I" for EQP with the promotion. The most EQP you could earn would be closer to 31K routing DUB-LHR-SFO-HNL or as much as about 35K routing less direct ways (but adds slightly to the cost)

Had a bad value copied over from when I was computing RDM for CPH-HNL runs Slightly less at 119k RDM. Wish I had gotten in on this deal instead.

Yes, it's assuming that you already have EXP. The numbers for Plat wouldn't be too far off.
Here're the calculations for RDM and EQP - I just averaged the TATL premium bonus to 30k per RT:

It's only the DFW-HNL segment - the TATL is still in "A"
Comes out to an extra 7568 EQP RT.

Unlike US departures, NA015 (115k RDM bonus) is limited to particular EU departure points and US/S.American destinations. No DUB departures qualify.
