It will obviously depend on earning rates for your specific program for a QR flight, but I earned 2,246 + 6,704 + 6,704+ 2,246 as base mileage for all legs (+ 25% for I on AAdvantage).

Webflyer's mileage calculator will likely be useful to you.

Also worth a look in Etihad forum for thread discussing current 30% off codes for Tues (flytues11) or Wed (flywed01) travel. Because EY apparently hasn't loaded the ex-cmb "Z" fares we're discussing here (as a previous poster noted) its not possible to get 30% off the sub $1200 fare... Yet?? So lowest priced fare ex-CMB is the W fare ($1500 w discount), which is pretty

Ahh, figured out how to stack the 30% Tues/Wed discount with the Z fare ex-cmb. Z fare rules specifically state 2 traveler minimum, so I complied with that and booked 2 pax on the EY website. I got CMB-AUH-JFK return for 2 pax in Z class for around $1880! So that is $940 per person. Again, it is a minimum of 2... That is just crazy pricing.
Also, if you successfully bid for upgrade or used miles to upgrade this would be a pretty cheap way to get into F suites.

What's the trick to use the discount codes? Not working for me. Looking to travel in Dec/Jan.

Galle in southern Sri Lanka is a must. Also beaches on south coast and tea plantations, etc in mountains.
Best way to get there is w/ miles.

CMB -ZRH R/T : 858€ business class for 1 person at 4 november - 20 november.
It is necessary to reserve necessarily for 2 people to have this price : 1716€ for 2.
