AA / UA / Others FCO-LAX $2400ish Summer 2015
Saw the new forum. Like fresh pavement, had to post something.
Anyhow I am booking some summer flights and trying to decide my loyalty. Most of italy is coming in the $2400 range for July August.
Example
July 1st FCO-LHR-LAX
July 8th LAX-LHR-FCO
bookable on BA.com
FCO-LHR-LAX on BA's A380 or you can fly the LHR-LAX on AA's new 777 which is probably a better product even though the A380 is a much better aircraft.
$2480 with tax included.

Before someone asks, on BA this is not working in reverse (ex-USA) and you can't apply AARP discount because that's only valid on travel from a US gateway.
