The only real BBQ is in Texas.
Marice's in SC has the whole world beat with their BBQ. 24hr cooking over hickory charcoal using mustard/molasses based sauces is much better than the so so BBQ I've experienced in Dallas's West End.

I always remember to pick up a few bottles of his sauce when I go home to CAE, as I lived in the area for 25 years before having to relocate to the TPA. But when I run low, I can always order from his web site.

How fun for you to be among TSA's Chosen People!

Instructions are forthcoming about the numbers you must now wear on your foreheads...

If you go to Tortola, BVI...

"The C & F Restaurant (494-4941), run by Clarence, a talented local chef and his wife Florence, is very popular with good food at reasonable prices, such as local seafood cooked any style you want (try the grilled swordfish), barbequed fare, and West Indian dishes."
I coined the phrase "Too good to share" for his ribs...:D:D:D

St Louis look up Miss Piggies BBQ. (East off of Lindburg).

Sadly good BBQ is hard to come by and those two places have some pretty good stuff. FYI, if you are by yourself, do not attempt to eat the full rack of ribs at Miss Piggies. You won't get even half way through before running out of room. Good food, ample portions, but unimpressive so don't plan on dining in.

Wilburs is good stuff Angry, but this is my place of choice here near home : http://shortsugarsbar-b-q.com/short-sugars-history/ It is in Reidsville and kind of off the beaten path, but if you are in the neighborhood I highly recommend checking it out.

Another one to report

I won't provide the airport location to protect the ones with common sense, but my wife today had a touristy/souvenir item I put in the carry on, not really paying attention to the contents, just knowing it was a great gift for someone she picked out so I wanted to keep it with us. It went through the xray a few times, they then pointed out the liquid/gel part of the culinary gift pack, probably over 3 oz, the TSO quickly checked with a sup, and let us go on our way.

I was so happy to see some common sense in that agency today! Everyone on our flight is home safe with no problems from tourist products.
