I can't see the youtube, but I don't remember having had to take off my shoes in May, 2008.

Because the airport security in Israel is run by professional staff and not by high school dropouts with attitude.

No, I remember we were there in TLV from years ago. I realize that I know TLV security told us need to take the laptop out but, we don't have need to takeoff the shoes to get through at metal detector.
