KellyMae is back

Kelly is posting again at the TSA blog and given her latest pearls of wisdom it amazes me that she is a TSO trainer. Found this in the post about ID's.

Jim Huggins said: Bob (and friends):
With respect ... some of these answers don't address the questions.
To the question "how do you get off the selectee or no-fly list", you don't answer the question. You say that passengers can seek redress if they had problems in the boarding process ... but you never say whether or not that process can result in actually getting one's name off the various lists.
To the question "how does a passenger without a government ID deal with these rules", your answer was "get an ID". Clearly, there will be passengers who will approach the checkpoint without government-issued ID; as TSA has itself noted, there are legitimate reasons for this to happen (like a lost wallet). What will TSA do in such situations? It's a little hard for me to get a driver's license when I'm halfway across the country from my home.
[And by "you" above, I mean TSA in general ... not you personally, Bob.]

----------------------------
Jim Huggins, I would like to thank you for asking questions in a polite manner that we don't see on here often. I bet you that Bob/TSA are more likely answer your questions faster due to that fact alone. I personally am more apt to try and answer questions for those who are polite and not snarky, especially b/c if you read a disgruntled comment, you tend to answer back in the same manner and thats the opposite of TSA's focus on this blog.

In the questions you asked above, I cannot help at this time, but again, thank you for your courteous manner and I hope you get your answers.

She clearly doesn't understand the concept of customer service but then again its missing from so many of TSA's policies, I guess she fits right in

I find it interesting that TSA would allow a person with no prior security background and less than 3 years experience at TSA to speak on behalf of the organization.

It seems a desperate attempt to put a softer touch to the PV blog.

In other words, "If you kiss our a**es, we'll deign to talk to you."

She sounds like she was trained in the Indian Call Center -- politely managing to do absolutely nothing.

Remember that Kip Hawley had no security experience, and he was appointed leader of the TSA.

Likely a position that few want. But the one who wants it will either say "I'll change their mind!" or "I would love to do this for my country."

Has anyone thought of making a PV parody site?

I'd love to see that, with the same sort of semi-serious approach the Colbert Report does.

PV is already something of a parody site. :(

Next up: Bimbo ducks question. Discussion to follow...

Bad Spiff! She is a sweet, smart girl, not a bimbo. So which one of you is going to set up the new site? Make sure to include a link here.:D

Her posts on PV indicate otherwise...

She is fairly straight shooting. She says what is on her mind, I think most of you would value that! I have spoken with her, and trust me she is a pretty smart kid.

... but what she say is BS if her viewpoint is the nice posts get responses and the pointed ones do not ... sorry but I don't see being nice as being effective or truthful.
